“I Turned Down $3M to Perform at Trump’s Rally” – 50 Cent
Renowned American rapper Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has revealed that he turned down a $3 million offer to perform at a New York rally for Republican candidate Donald Trump. Speaking on The Breakfast Club, 50 Cent shared that he was approached to perform at Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally and was also offered a similar deal to perform his hit song Many Men (Wish Death) at this year’s Republican National Convention.
The artist explained that his decision stemmed from a reluctance to get involved in politics, which he finds divisive and fraught with controversy. “I didn’t even go far… I didn’t talk to them about that kinda stuff. I’m afraid about politics,” he admitted, expressing concern over the polarization surrounding political views.
“When you do get involved, no matter how you feel, someone passionately disagrees with you,” he added, noting that he prefers to steer clear of the heated debates often sparked by political affiliations.
