“If You Want More Land, We Will Give You” – Uzodimma to Evangelist Ebuka Obi
Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, has pledged the state government’s continued support to the Zion Prayer Movement Outreach, assuring that more land will be made available for its future projects. The governor made the promise on Tuesday during the commissioning of the Zion Seraphic Orphanage and Old People’s Home, a new facility established by the ministry in Mgbirichi, Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area.
Uzodimma commended the Spiritual Director of the ministry, Evangelist Ebuka Obi, for his dedication to community development and his decision to bring such impactful projects back to his home state. He praised Obi’s efforts, stating that the expansion of the ministry in Imo would elevate the state’s profile internationally. The governor said this aligns with the vision that led to the initial allocation of land to the ministry.
He further assured of government backing in terms of security, logistics, and resources to ensure the ministry’s continued growth. “What we saw in Lagos will be child’s play compared to what is coming to Imo. It’s not just about adoration—build factories, build schools—nursery, primary, secondary, and university. If you want more land, we will give you,” Uzodimma declared.
In response, Evangelist Obi expressed gratitude to the governor for his unwavering support and acknowledged the improved security environment in the state. He stated that the newly commissioned facility is aimed at providing shelter and care for orphans and the elderly who have no one to support them. Obi extended an open invitation to the elderly in need to make use of the home, emphasizing that accommodation and care would be offered free of charge. He also disclosed plans to establish similar facilities in other South Eastern states.
