“If you don’t leave me alone I’m going to spill everything” — Regina Daniels Accuses Senator Ned Nwoko of Marital Rape, Drug Abuse, and Crime Cover-Ups

Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has accused her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, of marital rape, forced drug use, land grabbing, and covering up serious crimes, while also suggesting the lawmaker’s health is failing. In a series of detailed posts on her Instagram, Daniels described what she called years of abuse in a marriage she says began when she was 17.

She claims that Nwoko introduced her to ecstasy, known as molly, and forced her into a sexual lifestyle sustained by stimulants. “You introduced me to the drugs ecstasy just to be able to satisfy you… which reduced the rape because it made our sexual life wild,” she wrote, adding that the senator frequently relied on Viagra, which caused repeated medical emergencies. “I rushed him to the hospital countless times because of same,” she said.

Daniels also accused Nwoko of attempting to discredit her in custody disputes by portraying her as a drug addict. “You have been calling me a drug head… Saying I need rehab is just your way of trying to discredit me in getting my kids,” she said. She claimed he weaponized fake evidence, including drug reports, to seize custody of their children.

The actress further alleged that the senator covered up crimes involving land grabbing, fraud, and even murder. “What happened and what you’ve covered up with money… if you don’t leave me alone I’m going to dig, spill everything whether murder case, land grabbing, fraud etc…” Daniels wrote. She also described the psychological toll of the marriage: “This man is choking me and it’s driving me crazy! I just want to be free. My life feels spherical, just turning in the same place.”

The allegations follow the recent arrest of Daniels’ younger brother, Samuel Ojeogwu, known as Sammy West, which Daniels said is part of ongoing intimidation.

Human rights activist and former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore has called for Nwoko’s immediate suspension, arrest, and prosecution. In a video posted on X (formerly Twitter), Sowore accused the senator of cross-border sex trafficking, unlawful detention, and misuse of state security agencies for personal vendettas. “The outcry surrounding Senator Ned Nwoko goes far beyond the unlawful detention of his now-estranged wife’s brother… What we are witnessing is part of a larger, troubling pattern involving the exploitation of underage girls across borders and the misuse of state power,” he said.

Sowore further alleged that Nwoko used the police as a private enforcement force, imprisoning people from his village and damaging multiple lives. He also claimed that the senator engaged in cross-border prostitution involving underage girls. “These are international sex trafficking crimes,” he stated.
