“I Have Documents, Voice Notes, Videos to Expose Gov. Yusuf and Kwankwaso” – Ex-Kano SSG Baffa Bichi
The former Secretary to the Government of Kano State, Abdullahi Baffa Bichi, has issued a stern warning to Governor Abba Yusuf and his political mentor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, threatening to expose incriminating evidence against the duo at the appropriate time.
Bichi, who was dismissed from his role along with five commissioners in December 2024, addressed his supporters on Thursday after returning from Saudi Arabia. In his first public remarks since his removal, he accused Yusuf and Kwankwaso of being deceptive and untrustworthy, claiming to possess written documents, audio recordings, and videos to support his allegations.
“I am happy that I concluded my tenure peacefully,” Bichi said. “This is not the best time to speak, but at the right moment, we will expose them so the public can understand their true nature. They are not trustworthy, only skilled in treachery and betrayal. They cannot be trusted.”
Bichi’s comments follow a suspension by the Kano chapter of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) for alleged disloyalty. He was accused of secretly leading a faction advocating for Governor Yusuf to break ties with Kwankwaso.
