“I Feel Like Vomiting” – Joe Igbokwe Reacts to Rita Edochie’s Plea for Nnamdi Kanu’s Release
Joe Igbokwe has strongly opposed actress Rita Edochie’s recent call for the release of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
The All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain expressed his reaction on Facebook after Edochie took to Instagram to urge the Nigerian government to free the detained separatist leader. In her post, Edochie accused the government of double standards and labeled Kanu’s continued detention as unjust, appealing for his immediate release.
Igbokwe, however, dismissed her plea, writing, “I just read Mrs Rita Edochie’s plea for Nnamdi Kanu’s freedom and I feel like vomiting. Maybe she did not know what happened in the South East from 2015 to 2025. This is unbelievable. Mama biko nakpuo be ji. Okwua kariri gi. Alu melu.”
