“I Don’t Want to Die,” TG Omori Pleads After Failed Kidney Transplant
Nigerian music video director, ThankGod Omori, widely known as TG Omori, has publicly sought prayers after undergoing a failed kidney transplant.
On Wednesday, Omori took to social media to share his distressing experience, revealing that the transplant procedure at St. Nicholas Hospital in Lagos on Tuesday was unsuccessful. Expressing his fears, Omori pleaded, “I don’t want to die.”
The director disclosed that his only brother had donated one of his kidneys for the transplant. Despite three separate attempts in the operating room, the procedure was not successful.
Omori also shared pictures of himself on his Instagram story late Tuesday, accompanied by the message, “Keep my spirit alive.” He later posted another message, simply stating, “I don’t wanna die.”
The music industry and fans alike have been sending their support and prayers for his recovery during this challenging time.
