I am delighted with the release of Methodist Prelate and others – Ikpeazu
Abia State Governor , Okezie Ikpeazu has expressed delight over the release of the Prelate of the Methodist Church Nigeria, Samuel Uche, the Methodist Bishop of Owerri, Dennis Mark and the Prelate’s Chaplain by their abductors.
The Prelate who is from Imo State was kidnapped on Sunday at Umunnochi with the other two clergymen.
The governor, in a press statement said he has spoken with the Prelate who is in high spirits. attributed the release of the clergymen, within 24 hours of their abduction to the grace of God, the fervent prayers of the Christian Community and the well coordinated response from security agencies in Abia State.
