How Popular Nigerian Stylist Sold Everything, Went Missing After Joining Instagram Prayer Group

Concern is mounting over the disappearance of Nigerian fashion stylist Ejiro, CEO of @stylebyejiro, who reportedly sold all her possessions and shut down her thriving business after joining a prayer group on Instagram. The alarm was raised by entrepreneur Nkechi Harry-Ngonadi, who shared troubling details on social media about Ejiro’s sudden withdrawal from her business and family life before vanishing over two weeks ago.

In a series of heartfelt Instagram posts, Nkechi revealed that Ejiro had been in regular contact with her up until she joined the prayer group, which she discovered through social media. After getting involved with the group, Ejiro began making drastic changes in her life, including closing her successful fashion business. According to Nkechi, the group convinced Ejiro to sell all her assets, including her gold, car, and business inventory, donating the proceeds as a “seed” for spiritual purposes.

Despite her thriving business, which catered to prominent clients, Ejiro allegedly sold everything and disappeared, leaving her family and friends in distress. Nkechi attempted to reach her through calls and messages, but all attempts were unsuccessful. After speaking to Ejiro’s family, Nkechi learned of troubling developments related to the prayer group’s influence, which isolated Ejiro from her loved ones.

Nkechi expressed her concerns and called for legal action, urging anyone with information about Ejiro’s whereabouts to come forward. “Ejiro needs help. Please pray for her,” she wrote in one of her posts, adding that she planned to pursue the matter through legal channels.

In subsequent updates, Nkechi named the leader of the prayer group as Joy Solomon, claiming that the group had been dissolved, and Solomon had since deactivated her social media accounts. Nkechi also shared screenshots from other concerned individuals, some of whom reported similar disappearances of family members after joining the same group, raising alarm about the group’s practices.

Ejiro’s brother, Ovie Daniels, also shared his own distressing account in a video on Instagram. He described how his sister, once a successful entrepreneur, had become increasingly secretive and withdrawn after joining the prayer group. He recounted how she abruptly closed down her business, which had been generating substantial income, and sold everything she owned, including her car and shop inventory.

Despite Ovie’s attempts to dissuade her from selling her business, Ejiro followed through with her decision, stating that she was “waiting for God to tell her what to do next.” Ovie said that even when the time came to renew her rent, she chose to move out without informing the family, further raising concerns about her mental and emotional state.

The situation has now drawn the attention of the authorities, with Ejiro’s family and friends desperately seeking answers. In the meantime, the search for Ejiro continues, with many calling for prayers and support as they hope for her safe return.
