How 15-Year-Old Girl and Ex-Lover Conspired to Kill Husband in Jigawa
Police in Jigawa State have arrested a 15-year-old girl, Zahra’u Dauda, for allegedly conspiring with her ex-lover to murder her husband, Kamisu Haruna, through poisoning.
The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Lawan Shiisu Adam, confirmed the incident in a statement. According to the statement, Zahra’u, who resides in Bagata Gabas village in Kiyawa Local Government Area, reportedly worked with her ex-lover, 22-year-old Lawan Musa, to carry out the crime.
Investigations revealed that Zahra’u poisoned food intended for her husband, which he shared with two friends. Tragically, all three victims developed severe stomach pain. While Kamisu Haruna and one friend survived after receiving treatment, the second friend succumbed to the poisoning.
The police have launched a full investigation into the matter.
