Health Scare as Father of Former Access Holdings CEO, Herbert Wigwe, Suffers Sudden Collapse, Swiftly Admitted to Hospital

Shyngle Wigwe, the father of the late billionaire business mogul and former CEO of Access Holdings, Dr. Herbert Wigwe, reportedly collapsed on Saturday and was swiftly rushed to a nearby hospital for urgent medical attention.

This development was brought to light by Tony Ogbuagu, a prominent influencer on X(formerly Twitter), who vehemently refuted the alleged demise of Herbert Wigwe’s father. Ogbuagu clarified, stating, “Herbert Wigwe’s father is not dead, please. He only slumped and has been taken to the hospital. Make una slow down with all these bad news.”

Amidst the confusion surrounding Shyngle Wigwe’s health, dignitaries, guests, and numerous mourners had gathered earlier at the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Isiokpo, Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State, for the funeral service of Wigwe, his wife, Doreen, and son, Chizzy.

As previously reported by SK Blog, Herbert Wigwe, his wife, and son lost their lives in a tragic helicopter crash near the border between Nevada and California in February. The family was laid to rest on March 9, 2024, following a combined funeral service at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Lion of Judah Parish, Isiokpo.

Wigwe, who had left Lagos State, Nigeria, to attend the Super Bowl 58 in Las Vegas, met a tragic end when the chopper carrying him and his family crashed. The LVIII Super Bowl took place on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, marking a devastating chapter in the life of the Access Holdings family.
