“He Is Politically Drowning and Looking for Every Person to Blame” – Nwibubasa on Wike
Leloonu Nwibubasa, former Commissioner for Employment Generation and Empowerment in Rivers State, has accused the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, of struggling politically and deflecting responsibility for state issues.
Speaking Friday in an interview with Arise Television, Nwibubasa said Wike’s actions continue to disrupt governance in Rivers State.
“He is not only criticizing his successor, Governor Siminalayi Fubara, but also blaming external actors who are not involved in Rivers politics,” he said.
Nwibubasa added that Wike’s continued involvement in state affairs, eight years after leaving office as governor, prevents residents from focusing on governance and development.
He advised the FCT Minister, who is currently not affiliated with any political party, to reconsider his approach in Rivers State, noting he cannot continue playing politics where he has no party affiliation.
