Harvesters to Pay ₦50,000 Monthly to Jobless Church Workers
Harvesters International Christian Center has announced a financial support scheme for members who serve in the church but are currently unemployed.
The Senior Pastor, Bolaji Idowu, made the announcement during the church’s Sunday service, stating that affected members will receive ₦50,000 monthly for a period of three months.
According to Idowu, the initiative is designed to provide temporary relief and help beneficiaries remain financially stable while seeking new employment opportunities.
He explained that the support is targeted at church workers and leaders who previously held jobs but are now out of work. The stipend, he said, would cover those serving in various capacities across the church.
Idowu noted that eligible members are required to register with the church administration. He added that the process would be straightforward, stressing that formal interviews would not be necessary due to the trust built through their service to the church.
The pastor described the initiative as part of the church’s responsibility to support its members during difficult periods.
The announcement was met with applause from the congregation.
