Gunshots, Teargas as Police Disperse #EndBadGovernance Protesters in Abuja
Chaos erupted at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja as police clashed with #EndBadGovernance protesters. The demonstrators, who had initially avoided the stadium earlier in the day, reconvened with flags and placards to continue their protest.
The police responded by firing gunshots into the air and deploying teargas to disperse the crowd. The sudden escalation forced many protesters to flee, with some quickly retreating to their vehicles to escape the scene.
