“Go and Prosper”: Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere Reconciles with Happie Boys (Video)
The General Overseer of Omega Power Ministry (OPM), Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, has officially reconciled with Matthew Precious Kelechi and Amakor Johnson, better known as the Happie Boys.
The reconciliation comes more than a year after the cleric placed a public curse on the duo following a bitter fallout. In a viral video shared online, the Happie Boys were seen visiting the OPM headquarters, where they knelt before Apostle Chibuzor to seek forgiveness. The young men admitted their past mistakes and expressed remorse, after which the cleric prayed for them, conducted a brief deliverance session, and embraced them, declaring: “Go and prosper.”
The incident marks a surprising turn in a feud that began in June 2023, when the Happie Boys openly criticized Apostle Chibuzor despite his sponsorship of their studies in Cyprus. Their time abroad was marred by challenges that ultimately led to their deportation back to Nigeria. The fallout culminated in the cleric withdrawing his support and placing a curse on them.
Online reactions to the reconciliation have been divided. While some commended the pastor’s willingness to forgive, others questioned the sincerity of the young men’s apology. One user commented that they had squandered the opportunity given to them and should only be blessed with prayers this time. Another expressed concern that they might again attempt to exploit the cleric’s generosity.
