This council will be housed within the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA).

2. Executive Director of MDGIF – Oluwole Adama
3. Secretary of MDGIF Governing Council – Joseph Tolorunshe
4. Chief Executive of NMDPRA – Farouk Ahmed
5. Representative of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN)
6. Representative of the Federal Ministry of Finance
7. Independent Member of MDGIF – Amina Maina (North-East)
8. Independent Member of MDGIF – Edet David Ubong (South-South)
9. Independent Member of MDGIF – Tajudeen Bolaji Musa (South-West)
