(Full List) Festus Keyamo Appoints New Directors for Aviation Agencies in Sweeping Overhaul

In a strategic move following the recent dismissal of directors and chief executive officers of civil aviation agencies, Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has announced a wave of fresh appointments effective immediately.

This development, in line with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, aims to bring about a positive transformation in the aviation sector. The affected agencies include the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Nigeria Metrological Agency (NiMET), Nigeria Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), and the Nigeria Safety and Investigation Bureau (NSIB).

A statement from the ministry’s spokesperson, Odutayo Oluseyi, emphasized that the swift appointments align with the urgency of the situation. Newly appointed directors are instructed to promptly collect their appointment letters from the Director, Human Resource Department of the Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development.

As part of the restructuring, a new directorate called “Cargo Services” has been introduced at the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria to address challenges within the sector.
