French President, Macron tests positive for COVID-19
French President, Emmanuel Macron, has tested positive for the Coronavirus.
The confirmation of the France leader’s test came from a statement released by the Elysee Palace early on Thursday .
Macron was said to be having mild symptoms and a test revealed he had contracted the deadly virus which has killed almost 60, 000 people and not less than two million infected in the country.

Macron will continue to work remotely,even as he commences a seven-day isolation, the statement added.
