Footballer Files N1 Billion Lawsuit Against UK-Based Pastor
Nigerian footballer Kayode Olanrewaju has filed a N1 billion lawsuit against UK-based Pastor Tobi Adegboyega, accusing the cleric of causing emotional trauma, financial losses, and damaging his goodwill through an alleged affair with Olanrewaju’s wife, Dora.
The lawsuit, marked Suit Number PET/304/2024, was submitted to the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory. Olanrewaju’s cross-petition includes accusations of infidelity, financial misconduct, and significant family disputes.
In addition to the lawsuit, Olanrewaju is seeking a divorce from Dora, citing repeated instances of adultery since their marriage in 2013. He specifically alleges that Dora’s affair with Adegboyega has been far from discreet, with the couple openly attending parties and sharing intimate moments publicly.
Olanrewaju also claims that Dora has engaged in similar relationships with other men, making it intolerable for him to continue their marriage.
