FG Announces Free Train Rides for Nigerians During Festive Season
The Federal Government has declared free train rides for Nigerians traveling during the Christmas and New Year celebrations. This initiative, announced by the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, follows the latest Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.
The free service will be available from December 20, 2024, to January 5, 2025, on all existing train routes across the country. This gesture aims to ease travel for citizens during the holiday season.
