Fast & Furious’ Star Vin Diesel Faces Heat Amid Sexual Assault Allegations by Ex-Assistant
Vin Diesel, renowned for his role in ‘Fast & Furious,’ is now at the center of a sexual assault controversy. His former assistant, Asta Jonasson, filed a lawsuit on Thursday, alleging that the incident occurred in a St. Regis hotel suite in 2010 during the filming of ‘Fast Five.’
The plaintiff claims Diesel groped her, forcibly kissed her, and engaged in inappropriate behavior in his Atlanta hotel room. The assault, according to Jonasson, transpired just a week after she was hired by Diesel and his production company, One Race Productions, while they were filming ‘Fast Five.’
In a detailed account, the lawsuit describes a night in September 2010 when Jonasson was asked to wait in Diesel’s suite as he entertained hostesses from a club. Once alone, Diesel allegedly grabbed her wrists, pulled her onto the bed, and despite her pleas, proceeded to grope and kiss her.
According to Vanity Fair, the suit states that Jonasson, fearing for her safety and job security, attempted to escape Diesel’s advances. However, he persisted, allegedly molesting her body and escalating the assault. The lawsuit describes Diesel pulling down Jonasson’s underwear, pinning her to the wall, and engaging in further inappropriate behavior.
Diesel has not publicly responded to the allegations as of now. The lawsuit is expected to draw significant attention as legal proceedings unfold.
