Fake News: AGN President Denounces False Death Rumors Surrounding Zack Orji
In a swift response to circulating rumors, Emeka Rollas, President of the Actors’ Guild of Nigeria (AGN), has vehemently denied the alleged demise of Nollywood veteran, Zack Orji.
Speculations regarding Orji’s passing flooded social media platforms on Tuesday morning, prompting Rollas to take to Instagram to dispel the false claims. In his post less than an hour after the rumors emerged, Rollas affirmed Orji’s vitality, urging the public to disregard the misinformation propagated by “mischief makers.”
Rollas emphasized the malicious intent behind spreading such unfounded rumors, labeling it as “totally unacceptable.” He further assured the public that Orji remains alive and well, expressing confidence that he will continue to thrive and proclaim the goodness of God.
The clarification from AGN comes in the wake of the recent demise of another esteemed actor, Amaechi Muonagor, who succumbed to kidney failure.
