Dynamic Duos Wanted: BBNaija Season 9 Auditions Kick-Off with a New Twist

The much-anticipated auditions for the ninth season of BBNaija have officially begun, promising a fresh twist to the popular reality TV show. Breaking away from tradition, organizers have introduced a new requirement: contestants must enter the Big Brother’s house as pairs.

Announced via BBNaija’s official Instagram page on Tuesday, the upcoming season aims to uncover dynamic duos who not only cherish the show but also have the ability to amplify the excitement within Biggie’s house.

Auditions for BBNaija Season 9 will commence on Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. However, the deadline for audition applications has not been disclosed at the time of this report.

Prospective contestants are required to submit a 3-minute video addressing Big Brother, explaining why “they both” should be selected to enter the house together. Organizers emphasize that interested candidates must audition as a pair, detailing their backgrounds, personalities, preferences, strengths, weaknesses, and how these attributes can contribute to their success on the show.

To apply, contestants must visit Africa Magic TV/Big Brother’s platform to upload their videos and provide additional information. Eligibility for application is limited to individuals above 21 years old with valid identification documents.

BBNaija Season 8, dubbed All-Stars, kicked off on July 23, 2023, and concluded on October 1 of the same year. Ilebaye Odiniya emerged as the victor, securing a grand prize of N120 million.
