Engr. Eric Anyamene Begins Upgrade of Eke Obosi Market
Work has begun on the upgrade of Eke Obosi Market in Idemili North, following an intervention by Eric Nnamdi Anyamene through the Eric Nnamdi Anyamene Foundation (ENAF).
Workers were seen on site carrying out excavation for foundational structures. The market, which had long appeared underutilised with few functional shops, is now set for a facelift aimed at improving trading conditions.
Speaking on the project, Engr. Anyamene said the initiative is part of his commitment to improving everyday life for residents.
“This is an extension of our desire to make life more comfortable for our people. A functional market supports livelihoods and strengthens the local economy,” he said.
He added that the goal is to create a more organised and accessible space for traders and buyers.
The intervention is expected to revive activity in the village market and provide a better environment for commerce within the community.
