#EndSARS: FG compensates families of officers slain during protest
The Federal Government has pledged its support as well as that of Nigerians to the families of officers who lost their lives in the heat of the #EndSARS protest, which rocked several states in the country in October 2020.
The Minister of information, Lai Mohammed, who made the assurance during the presentation of cheques to about 39 families at the Force Headquarters in Abuja, added that the monetary incentive was not compensation for what they have lost, but a token of the nation’s appreciation for the sacrifices of their loved ones.
