Electronic Transmission Of Election Results Is A Must – Atiku Support Organisation
The Atiku Support Organisation (ASO) demands the passage of the Electoral Bill that reflects a process of credible elections that avoids intimidation, rigging and use of force and coercion to intimidate voters. This is a vital aspect of our democratic transparency . INEC must be transparent with a visible dataset and database.
A credible method of voting and collation of results that transmits instantaneously in line with modern electioneering practices to eliminate rigging and undue pressure on electoral officers and others who may plan to subvert the process.
To this end, we are once again calling on the Senate President, Ahmed Lawan to engage the National Assembly into passing this into law without any forms of substitution, trick or further delays.
The process of collation and electronic transfer of election results is in line with what obtains in all modern democracy. Save Nigeria’s Democracy
