Edo Poll: “Peter Obi is a Serial Complainer Who Never Accepts Election Results” – APC
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has accused Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s (LP) 2023 presidential candidate, of consistently rejecting election outcomes that do not favor him or his candidates.
APC National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka, in an interview with Arise TV, stated that Obi’s comments regarding the recent Edo State governorship election were irrelevant. Morka further claimed that since the 2023 election, Obi has been in denial and is now focused on discrediting the Edo poll.
“Peter Obi is a serial complainer who will not accept the result of any election that is not in his favor or supports his candidates,” Morka asserted.
Morka also advised Labour Party’s candidate Olumide Akpata and Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) candidate Asue Ighodalo to pursue their claims in court if they are dissatisfied with the results. He emphasized that allegations must be backed by substantial evidence to stand in court.
The Edo State governorship election saw APC’s Monday Okpebholo win with 291,667 votes, followed by PDP’s Ighodalo with 247,274 votes, while LP’s Akpata secured 22,763 votes.
