Edo Poll: Obaseki Wins First LGA in Edo North, Oshiomhole’s Stronghold

The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), Godwin Obaseki, has won his first local government area in Edo North Senatorial District, the stronghold of disgraced former National Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole.

According to the latest result declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), collation Officer in Owan West local government, Obaseki polled 11,485 votes to beat his closest rival, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu of the APC who scored 11,193 votes.

At this rate someone can win more local governments and loose the simple majority count right? If it is true then it is not all uhuru after 13 LGAs cos the numbers can be manipulated. #edonobelagos
