Edo Poll: Ize-Iyamu Wins Etsako Central LGA as Obaseki Maintains Firm Lead
The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Saturday’s gubernatorial election in Edo State, Pastor Ize-Iyamu has won Etsako Central local government area.
According to the result announced by the local government collation Officer, Ize-Iyamu polled 8359 votes to beat PDP’s Governor Godwin Obaseki who scored 7478.
However, Obaseki still maintains his firm lead over Ize-Iyamu after results of 16 local government areas were announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), collation Officers.
