YouTuber Nick Yardy shocked social media users after posting about a “double baby shower” for his girlfriend and her mother, both of whom he claimed to have impregnated. The announcement, shared with his 3.41 million YouTube subscribers, sparked a wave of curiosity and outrage online.

Yardy, 29, later clarified to the Daily Mail that the pregnancies were not real, calling the stunt a scripted skit. “There are no babies,” he said. “People that follow me, they’re just looking for entertainment, and I don’t think they really believe it.” However, he maintained that his three-way relationship with 22-year-old Jade and her mother Dani, 44, is genuine and hinted that turning the joke into reality someday wasn’t out of the question.

The social media personality, whose real name is Nicholas Hunter, claims that the unconventional relationship has been ongoing for nearly two years. He met Jade on a shoot, and when the couple hit a rough patch, they sought advice from Dani. According to Yardy, Dani suggested bringing another woman into the relationship, though she supposedly wasn’t considering herself at the time. Eventually, she moved in with the couple, and they now describe their arrangement as a “common law marriage.”

At 29, Yardy is the same age as Dani’s eldest child, Jade’s brother. He addressed the unusual dynamic in a video, joking about men who admire their partner’s mother and wonder if their girlfriend will look the same in the future.

Despite sharing a bed, Yardy insists the trio does not engage in group intimacy and instead maintains separate relationships. He follows a structured schedule, reserving Saturdays for Dani and Sundays for Jade. The three also pool their finances into a joint bank account.
