Dora Kayode: Paternity Allegations are Baseless and Humiliating
Dora Kayode, wife of Super Eagles player Olanrewaju Kayode, has firmly denied the allegations questioning the paternity of their children. These claims, which have circulated widely in the Nigerian media, have caused significant public uproar and personal distress.
The controversy began earlier this year when Olanrewaju Kayode made headlines after reportedly threatening to commit suicide over allegations of his wife’s infidelity with UK-based pastor Tobi Adegboyega. The situation has since escalated with new reports suggesting that DNA tests purportedly revealed the children were not biologically his.
Dora Kayode has addressed these reports through an official letter from her lawyers, directed to her husband. In the letter, she labeled the allegations as “baseless and humiliating,” asserting that they were intended to tarnish her reputation and harm their children. She clarified that no DNA tests had been conducted on the children, contradicting the media reports.
“Our client is willing and ready for such a test to be immediately conducted by a reputable and neutral institution or facility if you so desire,” the letter stated, emphasizing her readiness to disprove the allegations definitively.
