Deposed Emir Conducts Ceremonial Sitting in Kano Mini Palace

In a significant display of royal tradition and defiance, the deposed Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero, held his first ceremonial sitting on Monday at the Nasarawa Mini Palace. This event comes amid ongoing legal battles following his dethronement. Bayero, dressed in full royal regalia, received homage from supporters and district heads, underscoring his continued claim to the throne.

At a press conference, CP Gumel disclosed that security agencies had uncovered plans by miscreants to attack the State House of Assembly and other strategic locations. He called for vigilance and calm as authorities strive to maintain order amidst the royal turmoil.
