Dangote Thanks Nigerians For Supporting Refinery
The Chief Executive Officer of Dangote Industries Limited, Aliko Dangote, has appreciated the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), the President-elect, Bola Tinubu, and Nigerians at large for the support given towards the establishment of the Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals Plant.
The businessman expressed his appreciation via the group’s Twitter handle on Monday.
The refinery set up to refine 650,000 barrels of crude oil per day transforms crude oil into different petroleum products such as diesel, gasoline, jet fuel and kerosene.
The refinery will produce Euro-V quality gasoline and diesel, as well as jet fuel and polypropylene.
The firm stated that the facility was designed to process a large variety of crudes, including many African crudes, some Middle Eastern crudes, and US (United States) Light Tight Oil.
“Well, what I want to share with Nigerians is actually to show my personal gratitude and that of the Dangote Group, for all the assistance that we got from the President, from the Federal Government of Nigeria, from even the President-Elect, because he also set the pace by creating the Lekki Free Trade Zone as part of his dream.
“And also we want to thank most especially Governor Fashola, Governor Ambode and most especially Governor Sanwo-Olu; because they have given us all the assistance that we were looking for.
“We thank all Nigerians for giving us their support which is too numerous to mention,” Dangote said.
