CBN Creates Milk Importation Cabal, Approves 6 Companies for Diary Products Imports
The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has said only companies in the milk and diary products industry that it has engaged into its own backward integration program are allowed to access form ‘M’.
The apex bank in a statement issued on Tuesday by its Director of Trade and Exchange Department, Dr. O.S Nnaji listed six companies it approved for utilizing form ‘M’ for milk and diary products importation.
The bank directed other milk importers who have form ‘M’ for shipments yet to be made to cancel with immediate effect.
