Cabinet Reshuffle: “Be Patient with Tinubu,” Bwala Tells Nigerians
Former spokesperson for Atiku Abubakar’s 2023 presidential campaign, Daniel Bwala, has called on Nigerians to exercise patience regarding President Bola Tinubu’s anticipated cabinet reshuffle.
Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Wednesday, Bwala underscored that the timing of the reshuffle remains solely within the discretion of the President.
“He will do it when he wants to do it. The good thing is that he must have formed his own opinion based on assessment when they introduced this KPI assessment and any minister who has not been able to meet up with this assessment will be able to know,” he said.
Bwala noted that President Tinubu is likely assessing his ministers based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to determine their effectiveness in office.
“It is the President who is now the overall assessor. He even engaged the Nigerian people, he said ‘go and talk to them about the programme and he will do it when he will do it.
“I want to urge Nigerians to have patience, the President will do it. It can be tonight, it can be tomorrow, it can be anytime.”
