Buhari’s PA orders the detention of Aisha Buhari’s ADC

There are reports that the presidential villa in Aso Rock is presently going through tension as the Personal Assistant of the President, Sabiu Yusuf and the first lady Aisha Buhari are at loggerheads.

Sabiu Yusuf, had gone on a private trip  to Lagos from Daura, Kano and back to Abuja.

Upon his return to the villa, Yusuf was advised to self-isolate for the mandatory 14days by Buhari’s ADC Mohammed Lawal Abubakar and the Chief Personal Security Officer Abdulkarim Dauda.

This was in view of the need to protect the President, his family and the entire state house staff.

Yusuf was alleged to have been in contact with persons close to the late Group Managing Director of NNPC, Maikanti Baru, who had died of Covid19 related issues.

Yusuf, who is in his early 30’s, but regarded as one of the most powerful and influential persons in the villa and also reported as one of the wealthiest persons in Nigeria today, was said to have bluntly refused to self-isolate and had forced his way back into the villa.

Matters went out of hand, when the security details of the First lady had forcefully moved Yusuf out of the Presidential villa.

This as reported, infuriated Yusuf, who alongside, the President’s Chief security officer, Idris Kassim and Bala Ciroma, the FCT Commissioner of Police consequently directed that Aisha Buhari’s ADC, Usman Shugaba and other security details be arrested.

Despite glaring excesses of Yusuf and abuse of laid down laws, which include, the Quarantine act, recently promulgated by the President, which prohibits inter state travels and gathering of more than 15persons, President Buhari has failed to call his PA to order.

The security details of the First lady are still in Police detention.

This is however, not the first time persons in the villa would be having running battles with the First lady and her family. She had been reported at some point to have said “A cabal have hijacked my husband’s Presidency.”

Aisha Buhari has however asked the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu to effect the release her security details who are still in detention on the orders of her husband’s PA Sabiu Yusuf.
