Breaking: INEC to declare Senator Bala Mohammed as Governor Elect of Bauchi as court declines jurisdiction
A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has dismissed a suit brought before it by incumbent governor of Bauchi state Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar, challenging the decision of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to conclude, collate and announce the governorship election result from Tafawa Balewa Local Government in Bauchi State.
The Presiding Judge, Justice Iyang Ekwo, ruled that the court lacks the jurisdiction to entertain the matter.
