Bolivian General Arrested After Foiled Coup Attempt

President Arce swiftly denounced the action, labeling it a direct assault on Bolivia’s democratic institutions. Fortunately, the rebellion was short-lived as the troops quickly withdrew, quelling the immediate threat of instability.
