Atiku Will Win Presidential Polls – Economist Intelligence Unit
The African affairs arm of the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) has said that the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar will win next month’s presidential election.
In a tweet Friday evening, EIU said Atiku’s proposal to give amnesty to looters came at the wrong time, however, maintained that he will still win the elections regardless with a narrow margin.
EIU is a British business within the Economist group providing forecasting and advisory services through research and analysis, such as monthly country reports, five-year country economic forecasts, country risk service reports, and industry reports.
Atiku is campaigning on promises to modernise and make the economy competitive and create jobs for Nigeria’s millions of unemployed population.
