Atiku condemns attack on Abuja-Kaduna train
The former Vice President, and presidential aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar has condemned the recent attack on the Abuja-Kaduna train by bandits.
Atiku, made this known on his Twitter page, he seized the opportunity to urge the Federal Government to commit to the protection of life and property in Nigeria.
He said “The attack on Abuja to Kaduna-bound train that reportedly left many injured and some kidnapped is condemnable.”
“The government’s commitment to the protection of the life and property of the people must remain sacrosanct.”
He further said “My thoughts and prayers are with all who are affected. As one people, there is no enemy, foreign or domestic, that we cannot defeat.”
You would recall that bandits, on Monday night, blew up the train brails and attacked the 6pm train heading to Kaduna from Abuja.
