Lawani caused a stir when she cried out that she was been held by the government despite not showing any symptoms of the disease.
In a viral video, she pleaded with Nigerians to help her reach out to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), to release her after testing negative five times to the virus so that she can unite with her children and grandchildren.
“…..No one has spoken to me, no one has given me any result, nobody has told me anything, and I am wondering what exactly they are doing with me……” she said in the viral video.
