Yul Edochie has addressed allegations made by Emmanuel Obasi, the former husband of Judy Austin, who accused him of blocking his access to his children.
In a post shared on his social media account on Friday, Yul said he had been receiving messages from people urging him to intervene in the matter.
“Some of my fans have reached out to me, saying, ‘pls allow him to see his children’,” he wrote.
He denied any involvement in restricting access, stating that the issue does not fall under his control.
“I have never stopped anybody from seeing his children,” he said.
Yul also suggested that the matter should be handled directly between the parties involved, rather than being discussed publicly.
“In this era of social media, people prefer chasing clout and chasing social media money with my name, rather than doing the right thing,” he added.
He further directed Emmanuel Obasi to communicate with his former partner to resolve the issue.
“Tell him to call his ex-wife, if he wants to see or take his children, let them discuss it. He has her number. It has nothing to do with me,” he stated.
