The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board has announced the commencement of the next phase of its 2024/2025 recruitment exercise, moving successful candidates from the Computer-Based Test (CBT) stage to physical screening and document verification.
In a statement released on 13 June 2026, the Board confirmed that applicants who participated in the CBT conducted in November 2025 will be able to check their status through the official recruitment portal at [CDCFIB Recruitment Portal](https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng?utm_source=chatgpt.com) between Monday, 15 June and Friday, 20 June 2026.
Applicants are expected to log in using their application numbers generated during registration. Shortlisted candidates will be required to upload relevant credentials and select preferred dates and screening venues directly on the portal.
The Board stated:
“Applicants who took part in the online Computer-Based Test (CBT) held in November 2025 are to access the Board’s official recruitment portal … to verify their status.”
It also outlined the next steps for successful candidates:
“If shortlisted, applicants will be required to upload their credentials, select a date and venue of their choice for physical screening.”
On the integrity of the exercise, the Board cautioned against financial inducement or third-party interference, stating:
“The recruitment process is completely FREE. Hence, no FEE should be paid by applicants to any individual, agent, group or organization claiming to render assistance…”
It further warned the public against misinformation:
“The general public is advised to ignore fake recruitment messages, fraudulent links, and unauthorized persons claiming to represent the Board.”
According to the statement, all verified updates will be published strictly through the official recruitment portal and approved communication channels.
The Board emphasized that the exercise is designed to remain transparent and merit-based in line with established recruitment guidelines.
