APGA Commends President Tinubu’s Economic Advisory Council, Applauds Inclusion of Gov Soludo
In a recent press statement issued by Mazi Ejimofor Opara, the National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), the party expressed its pride in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s decision to constitute a tripartite Economic Advisory Council, featuring eminent Nigerians known for their success in both private and public sectors.
APGA particularly commended the inclusion of the National Leader of their party, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo CFR, on the Economic Advisory team, considering it as a confirmation of the tradition where previous Presidents seek renowned global economists during critical moments.
The party expressed confidence in the capability of this newly formed team to assist President Tinubu in steering the country’s economic fortunes towards prosperity. They applauded President Tinubu for prioritizing the nation’s interest over partisan concerns.
APGA called on fellow Nigerians to exercise patience and support the current government, emphasizing the necessity of personal sacrifices for the greater good. The party highlighted the commitment of the Anambra State APGA government, led by Gov Soludo, in transforming governance systems towards a focus on infrastructural development, evident in the 2024 budget with a remarkable 77% allocated to Capital Expenditure and 23% to recurrent expenses.
In their journey towards a prosperous nation, APGA emphasized the importance of inclusivity, leaving no one behind. The press statement concluded with a heartfelt prayer for the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
