APC Unveils Blueprint for Southeast Political Liberation, Starting in Anambra
In a strategic move to assert influence in the South East, the All Progressives Congress (APC) announced that President Bola Tinubu has given the green light to a blueprint aimed at the “political emancipation” of the region, commencing with Anambra State.
During a meeting with key stakeholders, including Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State and Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the APC, emphasized the need for unity and a collective voice in Anambra State to amplify their impact on the political landscape.
Ganduje expressed optimism, stating, “The liberation has started, and the liberal revolution is starting from Anambra State.” He commended Ifeanyi Ubah for joining the APC, envisioning the party’s success in winning legislative seats in the region.
Addressing the media post-meeting, Ganduje asserted, “APC is born again in Anambra State,” predicting victories in gubernatorial, National Assembly, State Assembly, and grassroots elections. Governor Uzodinma stressed the urgency for Southeast residents to embrace the APC, emphasizing the region’s integration into national politics.
In his statement, Basil Ejidike, the Chairman of the APC in Anambra State, proposed the appointment of Liaison Officers in states without APC governors and sought assistance from the Federal Government for party members, especially during the festive season.
As the APC sets its sights on political dominance in the Southeast, the party leaders underscored the importance of strategic coordination and collaboration for a successful foray into the region’s political landscape.
