APC Suspends Kebbi Governor’s Adviser for Pranking Dignitaries with Snake at Government House
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kebbi State has suspended Kabir Sani-Giant, Special Adviser to Governor Nasir Idris on Power and Politics, following a controversial prank involving a snake at the Government House.
The party’s secretary, Sa’idu Muhammad-Kimba, announced the suspension in a statement issued in Birnin Kebbi on Sunday. According to the statement, Sani-Giant brought a snake to the Government House on February 8, startling dignitaries, statesmen, and government officials.
The APC condemned the act, stating that it was both embarrassing and a violation of the party’s constitution. The statement emphasized that such behavior could damage the party’s reputation and that disciplinary action was necessary.
Sani-Giant’s suspension is to remain in effect while further investigations take place. The party warned that if such behavior is repeated, it could lead to his expulsion.
