“Anyone Offering to Serve One Term Needs Psychiatric Examination” – Soludo
Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo, has described any politician who offers to serve only one term in office as needing psychiatric evaluation. Speaking at the Anambra South endorsement rally for his second-term bid, Soludo dismissed the idea of a one-term pledge, challenging supporters of the notion to cite any precedent where it had been successfully upheld.
He emphasized that the Nigerian Constitution clearly allows elected officials to serve up to two terms, not just one, and questioned why anyone would voluntarily limit their tenure.
