“Any Man Who Eats Breakfast Is a Princess” – Ice Prince on His Weight Loss Journey
Nigerian rapper Ice Prince has shared the story behind his dramatic 2025 weight loss, revealing how a simple comment from producer Chopstix set him on a path to a new lifestyle. Speaking on a recent EchoRoom podcast, Ice Prince recounted, “In the beginning of 2025, around February, we were talking about my next album. Somewhere along the line, Chopstix said we need to give them the new look, lose the belly, grow the beards and that just sank in like I’ve never heard it before.”
The remark sparked a complete overhaul of his daily habits. Ice Prince explained, “I started eating once a day, drinking ginger tea with garlic and cloves, and cutting out sugar and alcohol.” He also incorporated daily walks through the streets of Lagos, walking for an hour each day to stay active.
On the topic of breakfast, he joked, “Anybody who eats breakfast now, any man who eats breakfast now is a princess, is a Barbie.” His humorous remark highlights how far he has shifted from traditional eating habits in pursuit of his fitness goals.
