So far, there has been no communication from the kidnappers, leaving Ajaefobi’s family and community anxiously waiting for any sign of a ransom demand or statement regarding his abduction.
When contacted, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the Public Relations Officer for the Anambra State Police Command, stated that no official report of the incident had been received. Authorities are monitoring the situation, and an investigation is anticipated if further details emerge.
Meanwhile, the congregation of St. James’ Parish has initiated prayer sessions, appealing for the Archdeacon’s safe and swift return.
