Anambra Gears Up for President Tinubu’s Historic State Visit
The Anambra State Government has announced the upcoming visit of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, to the state on Thursday, May 8, 2025. The visit marks a significant milestone as the President is expected to commission key infrastructure projects executed under the administration of Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR.
According to a public announcement released by the Ministry of Information, the projects to be unveiled reflect the development strides of the Soludo-led government, popularly referred to as the Solution Government. The visit is seen as a recognition of Anambra’s progress and commitment to good governance.
Commissioner for Information, Dr. Law Mefor, noted that preparations are in top gear to ensure a successful and memorable visit. He called on residents, particularly commuters, to cooperate with traffic and security agencies as minor adjustments to traffic flow are anticipated.
“We are excited to welcome Mr. President to Anambra State and assure him of a warm and hospitable reception,” Dr. Mefor stated, urging all Ndi Anambra to show support and unity in celebrating the President’s visit.
The state government expressed appreciation for the understanding and cooperation of the public, emphasizing the importance of a hitch-free visit that underscores Anambra’s readiness to host the nation’s leader.
