Anambra 2025: Ifeanyi Ubah Unveils Strategy to Propel Anambra onto the Global Map

In a recent press conference held in Nnewi, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah shared his ambitious plans for Anambra if elected governor in 2025. The senator emphasized the importance of leveraging the rich diaspora community and media to propel the state onto the global stage.

During a tour of his six-storey media/event center, Nnewi Heights, still under construction, Mr. Ubah outlined his vision for Anambra as a “mini nation inside a nation.” He highlighted the untapped potential of Anambra’s intellectual and entrepreneurial presence worldwide, aiming to attract external investments.

“I am talking about a governance model that 80 per cent of the content has not been discussed anywhere,” he stated. Mr. Ubah emphasized the establishment of bilateral relationships with Anambra communities in major cities globally, fostering a global image that attracts investments.

He pledged to run a government independent of federal allocations or reliance on small traders, proposing a data-driven development strategy that utilizes media and ICT to showcase Anambra globally.

Addressing concerns about security, Mr. Ubah assured citizens of his commitment to combating insecurity through technology. He emphasized his street wisdom and personal investments as proof of his ability to transform infrastructures and lives without causing undue hardship.

“I have street wisdom, I live with the people, and my investments are everywhere for people to see,” he asserted. Mr. Ubah highlighted his track record of creating wealth and empowering individuals, expressing his desire to impact society on a larger scale.

The senator anticipates completing the Nnewi Heights media and event center by the end of the third quarter of 2024, generating over 400 jobs. The center is expected to house radio and TV stations, a cinema, conference halls, and event centers, further contributing to Anambra’s growth and development.
